About Oscar Lanza Menjivar (he/him):
Oscar Lanza Menjivar has deep roots in Morrow, having called this vibrant community home since the age of six. His educational journey reflects his commitment to Morrow's growth and prosperity, starting with his attendance at Morrow Elementary, followed by Morrow Middle School, and ultimately culminating in his graduation from Morrow High School. Building on this strong foundation, Oscar pursued higher education at Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. His passion for civic engagement and public service led him to further his academic pursuits at Emory University School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree.
Oscar's dedication to Morrow extends beyond his academic achievements. He has consistently given back to the community by volunteering with various non-profit organizations, such as GALEO. These experiences have not only enriched his understanding of Morrow's unique needs but have also shaped his commitment to making a positive impact on the city.
