About Louisa Shell Jackson (She/Her):
Louisa Shell Jackson has over 25 years of Human Resources industry experience. Over her career, she had held various broad leadership positions involving highly strategic advisory roles and leadership development. As an Asian African American, Louisa is passionate about serving the community and dedicated to ensuring that it continues to thrive and develop. With 19.5% of her district being Asian American, she is determined to fully support the growth of the Asian community and provide the necessary resources and representation in schools and the district at large.
Why We’re Endorsing:
Louisa believes education, healthcare, technology Infrastructure, employment, environment and DEI initiatives are critical in the continuing growth of our economy and the community. She intends to support programs that address awareness and DEI initiatives in the district including cultural awareness, parades, festivals and school curriculum that is geared towards addressing all, not just the few. She has been involved in these efforts in the past by attending meetings and standing against book banning efforts in Forsyth county. She believes that education should be accessible to all, regardless of immigration status and will represent these values in the state legislature.
