About Karen Lupton (She/Her):

She also currently serves on the Board of the Dresden Elementary School Education Foundation. She even took Mandarin lessons, and learned to count to 99.
Why We’re Endorsing:
Karen believes that affordable healthcare, excellent schools, economic prosperity, and justice for all are within our reach when we work together. She is running for office because she believes that as a State Representative, she would be in a position to advocate and create safe, inclusive, and progressive policies with the goal of creating thriving communities for all Georgians. She will also advocate for policies that increase language resources throughout our communities–from elections and policing to government administrative agencies. Karen will work to repeal recent voter suppression laws, including exact signature match and burdensome absentee ballot application requirements, fight to repeal dangerous gun legislation, and reevaluate and modernize the QBE formula that determines funding for public schools.
Key Issues:
Racism
Gun safety
