About Debra D. Johnson (she/her):

Councilwoman Johnson was raised in Milstead, Georgia, a small community in Conyers, Georgia. She has worked for 15 years in the field of Inpatient Medical Coding. Her personal journey includes becoming a parent at a young age, and raising twin boys who have now given her the joy of being a grandparent to five wonderful grandchildren. Her commitment to their future and the future of her community motivated her to enter politics. She is celebrating 30 years of marriage this November 2023, which has further instilled in her the values of dedication, perseverance, and community building.

Through her experience and dedication, she aims to contribute to the betterment of her community and ensure that it remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Councilwoman Johnson is running for re-election to be a solution to the problem by adding balance back on the City Council to make sure all community concerns are addressed and resolved for the best interest of the City. By providing information, deliberating about issues, and using transparency, she will make sure that the community is a part of the decisions that are made regarding future changes and development in the City.
