Why We’re Endorsing:
As an immigrant himself, Segun will be an advocate for the immigrant community in the state legislature, with a commitment to always support bills that will expand education access for all, regardless of immigration status. He understands the importance of equitable voter access and will fight against bills like SB 202, advocate to have election material available in multiple languages, work with community organizations to encourage people to vote, and work to expand transportation to the polls. He will also work to reverse Georgia’s 6-week abortion ban, as reproductive issues are something he will not compromise on.
