ABOUT Christa Olenczak:

Christa is an advocate for our children, our families, and all Georgians. Christa believes in investing in affordable healthcare, transit expansion, fair elections, and much more. She is ready to stand up for her constituents in House District 25 and all Georgians in pursuit of a better quality of life for all.

WHY WE’RE ENDORSING Christa:

Christa Olenczak is a first-time candidate, wife, mother, and IT project manager. She has previously served as a volunteer and activist, and she was inspired to run to be a local legislator after the 2018 gubernatorial election. She is running to represent her district with a progressive voice in the GA General Assembly. She has committed to fight for quality education opportunities, a healthy planet for our children, the right to vote for all Georgians, and Medicaid expansion.

Christa has signed the Fair Districts Pledge, which is a pledge to support the creation of fair and competitive districts. She believes that it is critical that legislative districts are drawn through a non-partisan, impartial, and transparent redistricting process in order to end gerrymandering. She has pledged to support legislation that would make voting more accessible including increasing language accessibility on ballots, allowing same-day voter registration, and more.

Christa is committed to supporting legislation to protect people of color and minority communities. She commits to representing the values and diversity of our communities with kindness and compassion. Additionally, Christa committed to working alongside AAAF to identify and support legislation that will help Asian American and immigrant communities thrive in Georgia. As someone who will fight for justice for the people in her district and across Georgia, the Asian American Advocacy Fund is proud to endorse Christa for HD - 25!
