Rep. Beth Moore
Georgia State House, District 95
ABOUT Rep. Beth Moore:
Representative Beth Moore has been working to protect the interests of her community since her election in 2018. She has been a vocal and outspoken advocate for our communities, especially on education, healthcare, and voting rights. We are confident that Rep. Moore will continue to advocate and uplift our communities’ values as the Representative of House District 95.
WHY WE’RE ENDORSING Rep. Moore:
Rep. Beth Moore is a native Georgian. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, and got her JD from Georgia State University. She lives with her husband Lorie in District 95, which is made up of Peachtree Corners, Norcross, Berkeley Lake, Duluth, and Johns Creek.
Rep. Moore is also an advocate for affordable, life-saving health services and expanding Medicaid. She is vocal and wants to keep Georgians healthy and insured. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been a vocal whistleblower against schools that are risking student lives and not following CDC recommendations, which have been covered by national news sources. She has been outspoken about the needs of students, teachers, and families and is committed to working with local leaders to ensure that schools can reopen safely.
In addition, Rep. Moore and her husband were both recipients of the HOPE Scholarship when it covered 100% of tuition. It has allowed for both of them to graduate college debt-free, opening the door for lots of opportunities for both of them. She understands that HOPE Scholarship now only covers part of tuition, which can still inflict large financial burdens on Georgians. Rep. Moore supports funding public schools; she is passionate about introducing schools that equip its students with accommodations, learning styles, and language abilities.
Rep. Beth Moore has been a reliable advocate at the Georgia State Capitol, and we are confident that she will continue to. The Asian American Advocacy Fund is proud to endorse her for House District 95!
