Shannon is running for reelection to continue the progress started in her first term. On the council, she serves as Mayor Pro Tem and has moved the city forward through smart development and consistent branding. She currently works as a paralegal for a law firm located in Brookhaven. Her goals include bringing the community together through community events and programs; improving pedestrian access, parks, and green space; and pushing for better schools and ways to decrease overcrowding. She also believes in finding ways to grow revenue-generating businesses that are favored by residents.
