About Sarah Beeson (She/Her):
Sarah Beeson is a mom running a local small business based in Roswell, Georgia since 1998. Sarah has been active in North Fulton through her leadership in organizations such as Abundant Housing Atlanta, Advance Atlanta, and Roswell Inc. She enjoys giving back to the Roswell community by volunteering with many local organizations including, but not limited to, Keep Roswell Beautiful, Helping Mamas, Children's Restoration Network, and Homeless Period Project. She has also served on the board of directors for nonprofit organizations advocating for housing options, transit access, small business support, and equity. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in City Planning at the University of Georgia. Sarah previously earned her MBA, Master's of Environmental Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science. The daughter of an immigrant, if elected, Sarah will be the first Middle-Eastern American on Roswell’s City Council.
Why We’re Endorsing:
Sarah’s city planning and community advocacy experience has made her highly sensitive to ensuring decisions are made based on true outreach. She knows Roswell needs to do a better job of auditing their charrettes to ensure results are reflective of the city's diverse population. If elected, Sarah would bring a unique perspective to Roswell’s City Council due to her years of experience in business, advocacy, city planning, and environmental management.
