Ruwa Romman is a Georgia State Representative, community organizer, and policy leader. Born in Jordan and raised in Georgia, she has dedicated her career to helping communities build their civic power. In 2022, she made history as the first Muslim woman elected to the Georgia House and the first Palestinian American elected to public office in Georgia.

She has fought against harmful anti-immigrant legislation, defended free speech, and worked to expand healthcare and voting rights.
