marietta school board, ward 2

About Nicole tirado (she/her/ella):

Nicole Tirado is a proud working mom of Puerto Rican and Chinese descent. Her belief that education is the path to success is shaped by her upbringing in the Bronx with a single mom who worked long shifts as a Corrections Officer and an incarcerated father. Now a Marietta resident, she’s committed to increasing Asian American representation on the school board and being a voice for children who need it most. As a mother and community advocate, Nicole is driven to create a more inclusive, supportive future for all families.

Why We’re Endorsing:

Nicole is a proven advocate for immigrant families and a strong voice for inclusive, safe schools. She’s led efforts against book and curriculum bans, and champions transparency and community input in school board decisions. Nicole is committed to ensuring all families, not just those with generational privilege, have a seat at the table and access to the information they need to be heard.

Key Issues:

  • Promoting powerful, multilingual family engagement to ensure all voices are included.

  • Ending the attacks on public education and defending equitable access for all students.

  • Creating safe and supportive schools where every child can thrive.
