ABOUT Sara Tindall Ghazal:

Sara’s career has centered around public service. She has experience in domestic and international elections and peace efforts, and she is ready to bring her expansive knowledge and experience to Georgia’s Gold Dome. Sara is passionate about voting rights and has experience working on issues that impact communities of color. We’re excited to support her and help bring her experience to the State Capitol.

WHY WE’RE ENDORSING Sara:

Sara Tindall Ghazal is a mother, wife, attorney, and advocate. She resides in East Cobb with her husband and children, and she’s an eighth generation Georgian. As a mom, she’s disappointed that every Georgian does not have the same access to high quality public education. Sara believes that people who can’t afford to live in top performing school districts are inherently disadvantaged because they get priced out of expensive school districts.

Sara has worked in public service for the majority of her career and has built the most comprehensive voter protection operation in the country through the Democratic Party of Georgia. Her major goal as a State Representative is to expand voter accessibility with new laws that allow for same-day voter registration, increased in language resources, and diversifying election staff. In addition to fighting for fair elections in Georgia, she also worked for more than a decade at the Carter Center, where she promoted free and fair elections globally and strengthened peace efforts in Africa and the Middle East.

The Asian American Advocacy Fund is excited to endorse Sara Tindall Ghazal for House District 45! We’re especially excited to work with Sara to expand voting access for our Asian American communities, as well as other immigrant communities in Georgia.
