About PETER HUBBARD (HE/HIM):

Peter Hubbard is a longtime clean energy advocate with 15 years of experience in Georgia’s energy industry. He leads the Georgia Center for Energy Solutions, where he works to move our state toward a cleaner, more affordable energy future. Peter knows the ins and outs of the Public Service Commission (PSC) because he’s been in the room — testifying on behalf of everyday Georgians, challenging unfair policies, and fighting for lower bills, less pollution and cleaner energy.

Why We’re Endorsing:

Peter is the kind of leader our communities need: knowledgeable, experienced, and driven by fairness. He has spent years holding the PSC accountable, pushing for policies that lower utility costs while expanding clean, renewable energy like solar. Peter is committed to making energy policy transparent and understandable for everyone, not just industry insiders. With his clear plan to combine economic justice and environmental justice, Peter is ready to fight for lower bills, less pollution, and a future where Georgia families don’t have to choose between keeping the lights on and protecting our environment.

Key Issues:

  • Invested in Rapidly Transitioning to Clean Energy

  • Lowering Power Bills for All Georgians

  • Bringing Accountability to the Public Service Commission
